Gotham Stand-Up Video June 23, 2008, at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Open mic performance October 10, 2007, at the Helium Comedy Club in Philly. Guest set at Helium August 15 , 2007, at the Helium Comedy Club in Philly. I had just won John DeBella's 1st Annual Comedy Competition, and I was to accept a trophy and open up for Juston McKinney. Host is Pat House. Open mic performance June 26, 2007, at the Helium Comedy Club in Philly. This one is about car bombs and Lucky Charms... Open mic performance December 12, 2006, at the Helium Comedy Club in Philly. Good show, I must say. Open mic performance February 1, 2006 at the Comedy Cabaret in Philly. The emcee is Roger Weaver. My fifth performance, and my best so far. Open mic performance November 29, 2006 at the Comedy Cabaret in Philly. The emcee is Pat O' Donnell. Very late, very small crowd. Video performance I know this is supposed to be an Audio page, but I just have this one video clip and I can't justify creating an entirely new page for it, so here it is. It's a "graduation" from a comedy course I did in Fall 2005. This was on December 4, and I've come pretty far since then (I no longer move the damn microphone up and down, for instance). The emcee, as well as teacher, was Joey Callahan, and the video was shot by Chris Corter. It will play in Windows Media Player. Open mic performance March 22, 2006 at the Comedy Cabaret in Philly. This was a tough room, as there were no actual audience members, only comics. Not your ideal crowd, but I managed to do fairly well. Open mic performance February 8, 2006 at the Comedy Cabaret in Philly. The emcee is Pat O' Donnell. I tanked with material that killed the week before, but the new joke did well. Go figure. Fast Food Girls This is a parody of "West End Girls" by the Pet Shop Boys. I made this when I was 18, and wrote it with friend Rich Wooten. I've recently added backing vocals and slight reverb. I highly recommend listening to the original song before this parody, as it makes it 10x funnier. If you can't do that then read the original lyrics first. CREDITS: LYRICS: Justin Hagerman and Rich Wooten VOCALS: Justin Hagerman CHORUS: Charles Rappa BACKING VOCALS: Kelly Jarrell FAST FOOD SPEAKER VOICE: Greg Davis Faux Pas This is a skit I wrote when I was 18, and I recorded it in my crappy studio in summer 2002. It's pretty dark, and I find that people either love it or hate it. The guitar is played by Rich Wooten. If you hear any birds in the background, it's because there was a bird's nest in the ghetto window. Whore This was also recorded during the summer of 2002. It's a spoken word version of my poem "Whore." Guest vocals by Rich Wooten. Contents © 1998-2008 Justin Hagerman |
